When establishing committees NSAI looks to recruit members to unzip a wastefulness of stakeholders. Standards > Want to Get Involved with Standards? > Terms and Conditions for NSAI Committee Members Introduction Membership of an NSAI committees is unshut to person(s)/organisation (s) representing national stakeholder interests such as industry, government, education and research, trade associations, consumers, societal, labour and others. Membership of an NSAI Committee is moreover unshut to technical experts when considered appropriate. NSAI manages committee work via an online platform (web based) for document storage and liaison with members.  NSAI can nominate national experts to participate in European and/or International standards committees. NSAI does not provide funding to shepherd these standards meetings. Experts wishing to engage in European or international standards work do so at their own expense. Membership of any committee is at the discretion of NSAI. NSAI may at any time terminate the membership of all or any of the members of committees. An unsuccessful write-in can request the visualization through the NSAI appeals procedure. RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS OF NSAI COMMITTEES, NSAI DELEGATES and NSAI EXPERTS Members are expected to teach and squire NSAI on the technical content of standards. Members are expected to prepare for and shepherd meetings and provide comments and submissions on zippy projects stuff developed.  Members are expected to use the online platform (web based) for accessing documents related to the NSAI Committee. A person applying for membership on behalf of an organization shall undertake to represent its viewpoint on issues discussed and act as a waterworks for consultation and liaison with that organization. Persons for membership of Regional (CEN/CLC) or International committees (ISO/IEC), when participating at those meetings shall be enlightened of the national brief/position. Members are required to provide reports on peekaboo those meetings. NSAI Committee members may refer to their membership (including Chairmanship) when writing wares or giving lectures or papers. However, they may not state views purporting to be those of the NSAI Committee, regional or international committees unless those views have been tried by the NSAI and/or NSAI Committee. Members of the an NSAI Committee shall maintain the confidentiality of the Committee's work.  Members shall behave at all times ethically and respectful of others, in such a way as to contribute positively to standards minutiae work they are participating in. They shall be enlightened and comply with the relevant rules, regulations and codes of conduct.  Members should be enlightened that records of NSAI committees may be subject to disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act and that membership may be disclosed, for example in yearly reports.  Members shall not communicate with the media on matters concerning the internal wires of a Committee without expressed permission of NSAI.
